That is the point of prototypes, its like a demo that devs dont release. Naa utter BS, its nintendo re creating BOTW as if it was a NES game.Ī prototype is in short a basic version of the game, early stage engine, now all the ideas and features that BOTW had/has would not make sense to use this as its prototype because it simply cant test if the idea/features work. When you see games behind the scenes, world art/character art tend to be very highyl details so the designers can get as close to the desing as possible.īut what its claiming here is this NES game, is the prototype that nintendo used to come up with ideas for BOTW. Story boards yes, could be basic, but the design of or prototype designs arent, these are pretty highly detailed. Sorry to say this, but this is if anything a prototype of what BOTW could have been if it was a NES game, not this is a prototype we used that lead to the creation of BOTW. So you claim then, I can PROTYPE a 3D FPS game that allows the player to climb walls, jump off high moutains, glide through the air, by making a 2D side scrolling prototype (that cant do any of the features i want the game to do). using a 2D prototype that is impossible to do anything that you want to do in the game your making. Yea because you really create a vast 3d open world/action/adventure game that you interact with almost everything. No, far from it, this i bet is just someone who made a game using the NES engine to get y'all going WOW this is ace as if this lead to that well done. So you all beleive that this NES 'prototype' is actually in fact what nintendo used, then SHATING!!! BOTW was magically excreted out of someones ASS? Prototype is usually a basic version of the game running, allowing devs to test the engine/level and how its features work, add ideas etc. It is not, and not even close to what is a PROTOTYPE, PMFSL. Why do people blindly love and beleive anything nintendo say, here is what it is, a NES sample, if BOTW was a NES game. That is not even possible in this NES 'prototype'. The purpose of a prototype correct me here. How on earth do you get these results in a 2D NES version. Ok fans prove to be blinded by anything nintendo say or do, its gold lol.Īn open adventure world, you interact with, climb etc.
